| Purposes of the association : |
The association of the friends of the museum of the french marine corps (Troupes De Marine) bring its competition to the Ministry of Defence for conservation, development, emphasising and radiance on historical and cultural heritage constituted by all the collections stored in the Museum of the french marine corps, Coloniales troops and elating military virtues which these troops showed. Site dedicated in 2000 m ² of pieusements relics kept on the history of TDM.
A place is also made for the centre of History and of Study of the overseas Troops, (C.H.E.T.O.M) intermediate store of archives of the Ministry of Defence controlled by the Historical Service of the Army. It is dedicated to the military history of french overseas troops and more particularly for colonial Troops and after french marine corps (Troupes de Marine). |
